Kylie Jenner has become the world’s youngest self-made billionaire, according to Forbes billionaires’ list. Having accumulated an estimated $1 billion by age 21, she was finally given the title after months of speculation on Tuesday by Forbes as it unveiled its annual billionaires list.

At 21, she is both the youngest self-made billionaire and the youngest billionaire on Forbes’ ‘young billionaires’ list. She also reached the milestone earlier than Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg who became a billionaire aged 23.
Jenner is the youngest in her famous, reality TV family, the Kardashians and the first to hit the billion dollar landmark. She was surprised by the success of her cosmetics company which was only founded in 2015 but is now worth an estimated $900million.
Although Forbes’ “self-made billionaire” claim, has been called into question due in part to the meaning of “self-made.” Most notably, a literal dictionary took to the tweets to point out this discrepancy:
