Javier Tebas, La Liga president is hoping Spain’s top flight will restart on 12 June, although La Liga is yet to confirm the restart date.
La Liga players started training in groups of no more than 10 at the start of the week.
“Spain has done what it should and now new horizons are opening for everyone. The time has come to bring back many day-to-day activities,” said Sanchez.
“From 8 June, La Liga will be back, Spanish football has a huge following but it will not be the only recreational activity that will return.”
The Spanish league joins the German Bundesliga in opting not to cancel but continue the league, unlike the French Ligue 1, and Scottish Premier League which both got cancelled.
La Liga was suspended on March 23, with Barcelona two points ahead of Real Madrid, with all teams left with 11 matches still to play.
