Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette has been ruled out of Saturday’s Premier League clash with Manchester United due to a groin injury.

The French international striker was replaced with Olivier Giroud after he put the Gunners 1-0 up in the third minute of their 5-0 trouncing of Huddersfield.

Arsene Wenger confirmed in a post-match interview in which he revealed to reporters that Lacazette would miss the clash against Manchester United.

“Lacazette has a groin problem and he will be out certainly for Saturday’s game.”

“He might be out for a while.”

Giroud could replace the French star after he bagged a brace in the victory yesterday.
