Since the release of HBO’s ‘Leaving Neverland’, multiple entities have separated themselves from Michael Jackson. The Los Angeles Lakers have now become the latest brand to do so following the defamatory accusations in HBO’s “Leaving Neverland” documentary.

ESPN’s Lakers correspondent Dave McMenamin made the announcement that the Lakers will be removing “Beat It” from their “Air Band Cam.”
For years, that bit has included, among other songs, Jackson’s 1982 hit “Beat It.” However, on Saturday night, ESPN Lakers reporter Dave McMenamin tweeted that “Beat It” had been replaced by two other songs.
