Lashana Lynch Is reportedly going to play the Next 007 In New James Bond Film, she is set to be the first black and female 007. It would be the first time a white man will not play 007 in the spy movie series’ 57-year run.
According to multiple reports, the upcoming, yet-to-be-titled 25th Bond film will reveal Lynch as the new 007 with Craig’s character coming out of retirement for one last mission. The “Bond 25” movie is currently being filmed with Daniel Craig again playing the British superspy James Bond. Bond begins the movie retired, but is recalled into action.
Lashana Lynch recently starred as Maria Rambeau, a single mother and Air Force Pilot, in Marvel’s Captain Marvel movie along with Brie Larson.
Bond 25 has an April 8, 2020 release date directed by Cary Joji Fukunaga and will be Daniel Craig’s last movie. Assuming the movie is a success, the franchise looks to continue with Lashana Lynch as the new secret agent spy.
