NBA great LeBron James has moved to Los Angeles Lakers from Cleveland Cavaliers on a four-year deal worth around $154m.
James became a free agent yesterday and the Lakers quickly moved in to snap up the veteran who has appeared in 8 consecutive NBA finals.
The three-time NBA champion was selected by the Cavaliers in 2003 as the first pick in the player draft and established himself as one of the league’s best players where he was named the NBA’s most valuable player two times during his seven-year stay moving to Miami Heats in 2010.
The 33-year old won two NBA titles in 2012 and 2013 with the Heats before returning to Cleveland the following year, winning the Cavaliers their first NBA title during his four-year stay at the club.
Good deal for the Lakers—maybe this time they will get a chance to appear at the NBA finals once again since the days of Kobe Bryant.
