The rapper is suing Ronald Sweeney, an attorney who represented him from 2005 until 2018, for overcharging him during their 13 years working together.

According to docs obtained, Wayne claims that Sweeney was charging him 10 percent for every deal he helped close, even though industry standard is 5 percent.

In addition to overcharging Wayne, the rapper also accused his former lawyer of trying to get even more money out of him.

The docs claim that Sweeney, by enlisting the help of another firm, allegedly got himself an extra 23 percent from Wayne’s multimillion-dollar settlement with Cash Money Records and extra 15 percent from his settlement with Universal Music Group.

Wayne is seeking at least $20 million.
