Liverpool broke the bank in their latest deal after they signed Roma’s Alisson Becker for £66.8m making him the world’s most expensive goalkeeper.
The Brazilian joined on a six-year deal after he agreed personal terms with the Reds yesterday and also passed his medicals.
The 25-year old kept 17 clean sheets in 37 league appearances for Roma last season and looks certain to become Liverpool’s first choice come this season.
Alisson is Liverpool’s fourth major signing after the signing of Brazil midfielder Fabinho from Monaco, Guinea midfielder Naby Keita from RB Leipzig and Switzerland forward Xherdan Shaqiri from Stoke City.
