For the September issue of American vogue Beyoncé took over as editor and chief. Employing the first black photographer to shoot a vogue cover since its beginnings, the star glowed on the cover showing off a super natural look. She has been pulling out looks since Destiny’s Child, whether it’s her makeup or fashion.

Here are some tips to help you try and keep up with the queen herself:

When formation music video, Beyoncé went big on the visuals but kept it low key with her makeup, going for a more simple/natural makeup look. To achieve this look, use a light cover foundation, think natural looking eyebrows and a light concealer using a bronzer. The goal of the makeup look is not to cover all your imperfections; rather embrace them and enhance your natural beauty.

Literally – look at the fruits on her head. Beyoncé is rocking more and more of a natural look with simple skin makeup. To get this natural looking glow you need to put together a good skincare routine and also invest in a great highlighter. Her go-to makeup artist suggested pairing bronzed skin with bright lips for maximum impact. She goes for more of glossy lip, but is known to experiment with her lip color from time to time. To achieve this look you don’t even have to break the bank, you can grab a really cheap lip-gloss from any drugstore.



Beyoncé is rocking her natural more and more, with her natural curls often stealing the show. She is often spotted in a high ponytail keeping it out of her face. To capture this look try using a clip in ponytail on top of a sleeked back bun.
