Manchester United are now in poll position to sign Leicester City and England international, Harry Maguire after reportedly increasing their bid to £70 million.
Maguire was not with the group of Leicester players that returned for pre-season training on Monday. However it is unknown whether he will be joining up with his team mates on Sunday when they head to Evian-les Bains for six days of training in the French Alps.
It is understood that Maguire is happy at Leicester and will not force a transfer but is open to the idea of playing Champions League football next season.
Leicester have claimed to have no desire to sell and would only consider a fee greater than the £75 million Liverpool paid for Virgil Van Dijk.
