Italian Football Federation has announced former Manchester City and Zenit St Petersburg coach Roberto Mancini as their new manager on a year deal.
The 53-year old replaces Gian Piero Ventura, who was sacked after Italy’s failure to reach the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia.
Mancini who played 36 times for the national team, has also managed Galatasaray and Inter Milan before joining Zenit in June of 2017.
