Oscar nominee Margot Robbie may not have nabbed an award on Sunday night, but today she was awarded arguably one of fashion’s highest honors: she’ll be the new ambassador for the house of Chanel, the brand announced.
“It’s a dream to represent such a timeless and iconic brand,” the actress and I Tonya star said in a statement. “The history of the Chanel woman is so exciting….I’m thrilled to be joining the Chanel family and continue their celebration of women and Fashion.”
The Australian-born actress first wore Chanel only about a year ago at the I, Tonya press conference:
But since then, Robbie has worn the label several times. She collected her critics’ choice Award in Chanel.

On Saturday night, she wore two Chanel looks; the first was a custom Chanel Haute Couture dress by Karl Lagerfeld:
