The fourth instalment of the Matrix is about to get underway, with a casting call looking for extras in an ‘upcoming feature film’.
The call, which was put out by Dwyer Casting stated that filming will start on 5 February until 1 March for what is being called Project Ice Cream – the working title of Matrix 4.
The casting agency is looking for men and women who are over the age of 18 for background work on the new movie, which will be filmed in San Francisco.
According to reports, the executive director of the San Franciso Film Commission, Susannah Robbins has said that the organisation is working closely with the production and city to ensure filming ‘goes smoothly’.
The next Matrix film is set for release on 21 May 2021.
