Meek Mill’s request to be freed and allowed to post bail from prison has been denied.

Meek Mill's Mugshot

This was the verdict of the court after Mill’s lawyers made an emergency request after making claims that Judge Genece Brinkley hadn’t responded to any of their appeals.

However, the Pennsylvania Superior Court declined the request and urged Brinkley to issue her own decision on granting Mill bail.

Commenting, an attorney for Mill said: “We are pleased that the Superior Court took immediate action to direct the Court of Common Pleas to decide on the application for bail without further delay. We remain hopeful that Mr Williams will be promptly released on bail.”

Meek Mill was recently sentenced to between two and four years in prison after the rapper violated his probation. The decision did not go down well with many and has prompted a backlash from a number of celebs.
