Megan Thee Stallion performed a virtual concert on Saturday the 29th of August 2020. The hour-long paid virtual concert featured Megan’s hottest hits such as “WAP,” “Savage,” “Girls in the hood” and “Hot Girl Summer.” With the way Megan performed, you would have forgotten that she was shot in the foot last month. The Savage” singer’s onstage presence was fiery, filled with high energy and a lot of dancing and twerking while she was wearing jeweled platform heels.

Early on in the concert, Megan slowed things down to pay tribute to the #BlackLivesMatter movement, she took time out of her concert to remember the lives of Black men, women and children who’ve been killed or injured at the hands of police.

As the stage lights went down, leaving a black backdrop reading “THIS SHIT IS EXHAUSTING”, names of Black Americans injured or killed by police brutality, including Eric Garner, Michael Brown, Tamir Rice, Freddie Gray, George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, and Breonna Taylor appeared on a large screen with a short description of how and when they were victimized.

“Why is it so hard being Black in America?” the screen read, while gunshots and church bells could be heard in the background.
