The Super Eagles captain, John Mikel Obi has joined the Trabzonspor as a free agent after agreeing a two-year deal with an option for a further year.
The Turkish Super Lig club Trabzonspor announced the signing of Nigeria international John Obi Mikel on a permanent deal.
The Former Mikel Middlesbrough loaned left Championship club at the end of the 2018-19 season after the completion of his short-term deal and he is now set for his first adventure in the Turkish top-flight.
The former Chelsea midfielder agreed a two-year deal that will keep him at the Medical Park Arena until 2021 with an option for a further year.
The 32 year old is presently at the 2019 African Cup of nations with Super Eaglesas they have qualified for the round of 16.
