Five-time Grammy Award-winning rapper, songwriter and producer Missy Elliott is making history as the first female hip-hop artist to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Blige and Janet Jackson, among many others.

Missy Elliott is also the only female rapper to have all six studio albums go platinum. Missy’s fellow 2019 inductees include names like John Prine, Yusuf / Cat Stevens, and Dallas Austin.
