The Atlas Lions of Morocco overcame the Super Eagles 4-0 in Casablanca in the final game of the 2018 African Nations Championship on Sunday evening.

Hadraf Zakaria’s double and further strikes from Walid El Kharti and Ayoub El Kaabi were enough for Lions to beat ten-man Super Eagles who had Peter Eneji sent off early in the second half.

The Super Eagles were clearly devoid of ideas and mustering little in terms of fight back as the Moroccans were all over them for much of the encounter.

Ismael El Haddadi continuously tormented the stretched Nigerian defence and only needed good saves from goalkeeper Dele Ajiboye to keep the scoreline respectable.
