Moschino’s long-awaited collaboration with H&M is finally here and we’re not in the least disappointed by the results.
Jeremy Scott, the creative director for Moschino had earlier treated fashion lovers to the unveiling of the collection on the 24th of October in a star-studded extravaganza at Pier 36 in New York. The fashion space was transformed to mirror that of the NYC streets.
Star of the campaign, Gigi Hadid opened the show and was followed by Bella and their brother, Anwar Hadid. Top models Duckie Thot, Imaan Hamman, Candice Swanepoel, Joan Smalls and Winnie Harlow also walked the runway, and Naomi Campbell closed the show.
The collection which was largely inspired by the 80s, 90s and MTV, features slashed silhouettes, chains and logos emblazoned across everything from T-shirts and jackets to boots. Cartoon characters, gold, bold jewellery, sequins, really shiny pieces, faux leather, denim, fur, Crayola bright puffers, you name it!
Pets are not left out as the collection includes an array of cute pet wear because according to creative director Jeremy, “…everyone’s little doggies need something to keep them warm this winter! I didn’t want to leave them out. Can you imagine their faces if they saw their owner had some Moschino [tv] H&M and they were left with nothing? It was so much fun to make these pieces for them.”
From 8th November, the collection will be available on sale on both online and in select H&M stores.
