How many Mondays have passed with you saying, “I am going to begin next week”? Days roll into weeks, and weeks into months, yet your dreams lay cold in the confines of your heart, not getting the release they desire. You have probably lost count of the number of times you have said “I am going to to go for it”, yet you are still on the same spot. You excuse your laziness, and lack of strong will to your job, your family, your church, and the lack of enough hours in one day. However, the truth my friend is that you are procrastinating.
Procrastination is the thief of time, it denies you opportunities to excel. It helps you to remain in one spot, when you should be conquering miles. Procrastination is the lazy man’s apology, it gives you something to blame your inability to get things done upon. It robs you of having the kind of life that you desire. The first step to having a successful and victorious life, is to get rid of procrastination. Do not set aside what you can do today till tomorrow.
Today is your gift from the creator, to excel. So, you have got to do everything within your powers to bring your dreams to life, and achieve your biggest goals. The truth is, when you do what you love, you will never have to worry about a Monday, or thanking God its Friday, because every day will be your opportunity to shine.
