Procrastination makes easy things hard and hard things harder-Mason Cooley
Procrastination is the thief of time they say but depending on the intensity, it can slowly become the thief of destiny. Procrastination is the avoidance of doing a task which needs to be accomplished, thus putting off impending tasks to a later time. Some life situations most people face today is a result of procrastination, heck some others have even lost their lives for the same reason. A simple thing like postponing a doctor’s appointment when due or putting off having the strange sound in the car checked can land you in more serious trouble than you could have imagined.
Procrastination is not a time management skill as most people erroneously think but rather it is learned directly and indirectly. It is one slippery slope that drags you down and ensures that you keep sliding farther and farther. Get a hold of your life today and decide where you want to be! To beat procrastination, you have to be committed to breaking the habit. If the motivation to change is stronger than the motivation to stay the same, change will happen. Get your priorities right, focus on one thing a time and hold the unpleasant consequences of not doing your work in front of your mind. Slowly but surely you’ll notice and even love the new willpower you’re gaining and even your increased productivity will speak for itself in your health, career and relationships.
