Who’s next? You know the first question people ask at weddings – so who’s next? Someone said they will start asking old people that same question at funerals, but that’s not our focus right now. Our focus is on you, who starts to feel a certain way, when things seem to be working for everyone else but you. When you feel like the world is not smiling on you; when you feel like that person’s got it, this person’s got it, so what’s with me not getting it?
Well, here’s your answer: you’re not next – You’re it!
Here’s what we mean:
Life happens to each person at different times. But that is not to say yours will be belated or late. Nope! Yours comes at your time.
So you have read all our #MotivationalMonday posts and followed through most of them. You have prayed, worked, equipped yourself with all the right skills, and more. Yet, that thing you are expecting has not come to you, well then chill and think about these points below:
- Maybe it’s not yours.
- Something better is coming: Maybe what you are looking for is not even what is best for you. Start thinking of an alternative.
- Your path is different: No one is running your race for or with you. It’s yours. Stay on your lane and stop comparing yourself with others.
- Keep trying: Giving up is out of the question.
- Go to it: Don’t wait for it to happen, make it happen. Walk onto a film set and ask to be casted; walk into an office and submit your cv, etc.
So that’s it. Think on these 5 points once you start feeling left out of success stories. They sure will help.
