There are certain cases where you may be too tired to use makeup wipes and you just sleep with your makeup, even though you already know you should not, as this can cause skin damage. But even more than that, facial wipes can be dangerous to the skin sometimes, especially for the ones with chemicals in them. To prevent issues like this, here are natural ways to get rid of makeup before going to bed:
If your skin is very sensitive, aloe is a perfect alternative to oils and makeup removers. The easiest way to use aloe vera is to refrigerate it prior to applying to your face and gently wiping with a cotton ball.
The light green juice you get from cucumbers is very soothing. There are anti-inflammatory properties that will calm your wrinkled skin after a long day. You remove make by mixing some water into the juice then soak a cotton ball in it and use it to wipe your face.
Milk is extremely gentle on the skin. Once you have wiped your face with milk, wash your face with cool water.
Coconut oil has uncountable benefits. It has fatty acids that are perfect for people with drier skin. Dip a cotton bud in the coconut oil and smooth it over the parts with makeup until your face is clear. Rinse to feel and see the difference.
Avocado oil will remove makeup. It has fatty acids and vitamins A, D, and E that can moisturise and calm your skin.
Baking Soda and Honey
This amazing remedy works wonders for any type of makeup. Put a little organic honey on a clean cloth and sprinkle in some baking soda, then clean your face with it. The combination of baking soda and honey works as an excellent cleanser as well as an exfoliator.
This may take time because you have to boil water and lean over for a few minutes. It helps to get last traces of makeup off your face.
