Leicester City and Super Eagles midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi, has been named in French Football Magazine African Team of the Year for 2018.
The Nigerian midfielder is the only Nigerian on the list and is joined by Ghanian Thomas Partey of Athletico Madrid and Moroccan Hakim Ziyech of Ajax in the midfield selection.
Senegal’s Saido Mane and Egypt forward, Mohamed Salah are the two other England based players in the squad.
Surprise on the list was however Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubamenyang who was listed among the substitutes.
