Paris St-Germain striker Neymar was stretchered off in tears during his team’s 3-1 win over Marseille.

This comes as a bad news for the Brazilian and for the club who were hoping on his skills nine days before their Champions League last 16-second-leg tie against Real Madrid.

The 25-year old twisted his ankle while chasing Marseille’s Bouna Sarr even though PSG were three goals up at the time.

PSG beat Marseille thanks to goals from Kylian Mbappe, an own goal from Rolando who turned Neymar’s pass into his own net and a third from Edinson Cavani off Neymar’s pass.

Paris St-Germain need to overturn a two-goal deficit when they host Real Madrid in the second leg next week Wednesday.
