Nigeria and Angola made strong starts to the 2019 FIFA Under-17 World Cup campaigns after recording victories in their opening group games in Brazil.
Nigeria beat Hungary 4-2, with three goals in the final 11 minutes to come from behind to record their success. Midfielder Tijani scored a brace, one from the penalty spot, from Usman Ibrahim and striker Oluwatimilehin Adeniyi added the other two goals.
Up next for Nigeria is Ecuador on Tuesday.
Angola also won on their debut in the tournament with a 2-1 success over New Zealand, goals from midfielder Zini and Harry Bark’s own goal, leading them to victory.
