Manchester City striker, Kelechi Iheancho scored a late penalty to earn a draw for Nigeria in the international friendly against the Teranga Lions of Senegal on Thursday at The Hive Stadium in London.
This draw ensured that Gernot Rohr’s unbeaten run continued.
He hasn’t lost any match since he was appointed the coach of Nigeria in August 2016.
Kelechi Iheanacho, who has now scored 5 goals in 8 games, scored from the spot after he was brought down in the box by goalkeeper, Pape Ndiaye.
Senegal’s goal was scored by Moussa Sow in the 54th minute.
There was, however, a worrying point in the game after Captain Ogenyi Onazi was stretched off, injured in the first half.
The Super Eagles play Burkina Faso at the same venue on March 27.
