Nike has launched Nigeria’s World cup kit at a ceremony hosted in London. The kits were unveiled by four key players of the team led by captain John Obi Mikel, Leicester City pair Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho, and Arsenal’s Alex Iwobi.
The home jersey is dark green with a neon logo, while the away kit is a neon and white retro design on the body, and dark green chevrons on a white background on the arms reminiscent of the jersey won by the 1994/1995 Eagles.
The four players expressed happiness at the unveiling which was revealed by the Nigeria Football Federation on their twitter account.
The Super Eagles will wear the jersey for the first time when they face Poland in a pre-World Cup friendly on the 23rd of March.
