Kano Pillars’ Junior Lokosa was on the rump yesterday evening as he grabbed a brace in Kano Pillars 4-0 victory over Ifeanyi Ubah in a Nigeria Professional Football League match day 15 fixture at the Sani Abacha Stadium.
The young forward put the hosts ahead from the spot on the hour mark and added the second five minutes later. Nyima Nwagua and Awalu Ali were the other scorers.
Lokosa is now nine goals away from equaling Mfon Udoh’s record of 23 goals set in the 2013/2014 season.
At the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium, Enugu Rangers had a 3-0 victory over Yobe Desert Stars.The goals were scored by Ajani Ibrahim and Bright Silas.
