Former President of the United States of America (USA), Barack Obama has said he is up for more females to take positions of leadership in the world, as the men don’t seem to be holding the fort.
Obama said the men have been getting on his nerves, while speaking to about 200 students during a town hall meeting at the African Leadership Academy in South Africa yesterday.
“Men have been getting on my nerves recently,” he said, “everyday, I read the newspaper and just think like ‘Brothers, what’s wrong with you guys? What’s wrong with us?’ We’re violent, we’re bullying. Just not handling our business.”
The former world leader held nothing back, as he said it’s time for more women to get involved in social movements and government.
“I think empowering more women on the continent, that is going to lead to some better policies,” he added.
Well, we couldn’t agree more with Obama!
