A collaboration of fashion brands Patrick Slim and Just Adire has brought to us this spectacular look of artiste Ric Hassani looking gorgeously dapper in different pieces made from Adire fabric.
In statuesque cut Adire ensembles, the lookbook shows the alternative singer posed behind an adire print backdrop. Striking other poses, he’s pictured standing on a traditionally weave mat, wearing the latest collection by both brands.
The lookbook titled OKUNRIN IGBALODE – “The Modern Man” further portrays the typical Yoruba man deeply rooted in culture yet sophisticated and fashion oriented. According to the brand
“The decline in the appreciation of locally made fabrics such as Adire and the myth that these fabrics are mostly worn by women in Yorubaland, influenced our group’s exploration of the underlying history behind these fabrics.”
One of the creative directors, Ademola Ogundele also clarified that each piece is tailored for fearless individuals to share their unique story with their style. See more looks from the colorful summer collection below:
