Days after the Federal Ministry of Health laid allegations that Nigerian Rapper, Olamide is promoting the use of tobacco in his new video ‘Wo’, a jailable offense that contravenes the laws of Nigeria, he has responded saying he has no intentions of promoting the substance to get people killed.

The ‘Wobe’ singer took to twitter to express his mind and how he loves his people and Nigeria, noting that he wouldn’t want to get people killed through his songs.

He wrote “No intentions of promoting tobacco to get people killed, I love my people, I love my country, one love, one Nigeria #ClearTheAir 🇳🇬Oya Wo!”

Meanwhile, the National Broadcasting Commission has banned his latest hit, ‘Wo’, as well as some other hit songs from being aired in public.
