At The 5000 capacity Hammersmith Apollo Venue on Sunday, 9th of October 2016, the YBNL 2.0 concert witness a full capacity to the extent that the security had no choice than to close the doors, refusing an angry number of fans in their hundreds entry into the concert.

Due to the this, a lot of fans where denied the right to enjoy Olamide’s last performances which includes hits such as “Who you Epp?” and others.

The concert was opened with DJ Enimoney , Unbeatable, Neptizzle and Sean alongside the Acenote band putting the fans in party mood before and during Olamide’s first performance. Other artistes like Lil Kesh, Adekunle Gold, Temmie Ovwasa among the rest of the crew also entertained the crowd.

Olamide said after the concert that although he was humbled at the record numbers of fans who came out to see him , he was still disappointed at the fact that his fans didn’t get to witness the end of the show which he had prepared for months.

According to CEO of Smade events Junior Adeosunn ” all attempts were made to ensure Olamide gave his final performance including offering to cover any security costs to the venue but we eventually had to understand the health and safety concerns of the arena  owners as the crowd outside continuously rushed the door”.

Nevertheless, the concert was a huge success as far as Afrobeat in UK is concern has Olamide is offically crowned as the new king of Afrobeat.
