Let’s go way back to old Hollywood action movies that left us feeling like a top secret agent for the CIA. I mean there is no way you wouldn’t have told yourself “I’m gonna take down bad guys too” while watching those movies that makes you want to get enrolled in a top secret service institution, where you get trained, your identity changes, you get access to kickass technologies and gadgets and boom, you become the hero that saves planet Earth. Well, #ShebiThatsHow you have forgotten those good memories. Here are 7 old Hollywood action movies that left you wishing to be a superhero.

  1. Commando (1985) – Arnold Schwarzenegger

Retired Special Forces soldier John Matrix lives with daughter Jenny in isolation, but his privacy is disturbed by former commander Franklin Kirby, who warns him that his fellow soldiers are getting killed one by one. After Kirby leaves, Jenny is kidnapped by former Latin American dictator Arius, who wants Matrix to restore him to power. Instead, Matrix sets out to take down the rogue leader and rescue his daughter.

2. The Terminator (1984) – Arnold Schwarzenegger

Disguised as a human, a cyborg assassin known as a Terminator travels from 2029 to 1984 to kill Sarah Connor. Sent to protect Sarah is Kyle Reese, who divulges the coming of Skynet, an artificial intelligence system that will spark a nuclear holocaust. Sarah is targeted because Skynet knows that her unborn son will lead the fight against them. With the virtually unstoppable Terminator in hot pursuit, she and Kyle attempt to escape.

3. Set It Off (1996) – Vivica Fox, Kimberly Elise, Queen Latifah and Jada Pinkett

After being fired from her job as a bank teller, Frankie begins working at a janitorial service with her friends Tisean, a single mother; Cleo, a boisterous lesbian; and Stony, who is dealing with the recent death of her brother. The women are struggling with their finances, so they decide to start robbing banks. At first the group is successful, but they soon attract the attention of an obsessive detective.

4. Point Break (1991) – Keanu Reeves

After a string of bizarre bank robberies in Southern California, with the crooks donning masks of various former presidents, a federal agent, Johnny Utah, infiltrates the suspected gang. But this is no ordinary group of robbers.

5. Face/Off (1997) – John Travolta and Nicolas Cage

Obsessed with bringing terrorist Castor Troy to justice, FBI agent Sean Archer  tracks down Troy, who has boarded a plane in Los Angeles. After the plane crashes and Troy is severely injured, possibly dead, Archer undergoes surgery to remove his face and replace it with Troy’s.

6. Men in Black (1997) – Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith

They are the best-kept secret in the universe. Working for a highly funded yet unofficial government agency, Kay and Jay are the Men in Black, providers of immigration services and regulators of all things alien on Earth. While investigating a series of unregistered close encounters, the MIB agents uncover the deadly plot of an intergalactic terrorist who is on a mission to assassinate two ambassadors from opposing galaxies currently in residence in New York City.

7. Die Hard (1988) – Bruce Willis

New York City policeman John McClane is visiting his estranged wife and two daughters on Christmas Eve. He joins her at a holiday party in the headquarters of the Japanese-owned business she works for. But the festivities are interrupted by a group of terrorists who take over the exclusive highrise, and everyone in it. Very soon McClane realizes that there’s no one to save the hostages but him.
