Olivier Giroud has finally added his name to the club of 100 after he got his 100th Arsenal goal as they defeated BATE Borisov 4-2 in Belarus in the Europa League on Thursday.
Wenger made nine changes to the Arsenal team that won 2-0 win over West Bromwich Albion after they travelled to Eastern Europe on Monday.
Theo Walcott netted twice for the Premier League side while Rob Holding added another but a superb header by Mirko Ivanic allowed the Belarusian champions to pull one back before the half-hour.
Giroud then converted from the penalty spot early in the second half, becoming the 19th player to reach a century of goals for Arsenal before Mikhail Gordeichuk got the hosts’ second of the night.
Arsenal now top the group with six points.
