Talented actress and movie producer, Omoni Oboli has released the first official trailer of her movie “Wives on Strike: The Revolution”.
The movie which is the sequel to the original “Wives on Strike” movie, which was released last year, is expected to hit the cinemas on the 29th of December, 2017.
The original film grossed about N71 million and is currently the 6th highest grossing Nollywood movie of all time.
The movie stands against domestic violence and other related vices in our society, as some group of market women revolt against their husbands after losing a member to domestic violence in order to spur them into standing up for other victims.
It seeks to advocate that as domestic violence hit close to homes; the women must engage the government or become the government to put in place walls against such vices.
Twists, drama, frustrations and schemes make this tug of war a hilarious revolution.
“Wives on Strike: The Revolution” stars industry heavyweights such as Omoni Oboli, Sola Sobowale, Uche Jombo, Kenneth Okonkwo, Chioma Akpotha, Odunlade Adekola, Toyin Abraham, Julius Agwu, Afeez Oyetoro, Ufuoma Mcdermott, Sani Danja, Elvina Ibru, Chigurl and Emeka Okoye.
