Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde is the cover star for Today’s Woman Magazine and she is a vision in white.
The veteran actress, who is celebrating 20 years in the Nigerian film industry this year, has stayed true to herself all the while and she talks about this in the magazine.
Omotola said she has no plans of being any less sexy as a grandmother, as she spoke to tw of her plans for the next 20 years.
In this issue she opened up about conquering the billion dollar film industry on her own terms, holding on to her spirituality from a very young age, pursuing her dreams as a music artiste, the impending launch of her clothing & jewellery line, being an activist and more.
Omosexy, as she is often called, who clocked 40 on February 7, also dished on the secret behind her successful career, combining motherhood with acting, and how she is one of the luckiest people around, in the one week since her birthday.
To mark her birthday, Omotola planned a 5-day event which was kicked off on February 7 organising a party for widows and orphans, in the ‘Give And Let Give To Widows And Orphans’ event.
This was followed by a Couples Retreat themed “Reciprocative, Respect, Mental Health And Avoiding Slavery In Marriage” on the February 8, 2018.
As part of the five-day event, there was a Renaissance Trip To Trace The Beginning Of Slavery on February 9, 2018 which was followed by a Symposium on “Mental Slavery And The Emancipation Of The Black Race” on February 10th, 2018.
The climax of the 5-day event was on Sunday, February 11, 2018 with a ball themed “The Omosexy Ball” and from all accounts, the ball was a blast.
