Davidson posted two blank white boxes and an intentionally glitchy video of him as a kid to announce upcoming comedy tour dates with fellow comedian John Mulaney.
However, it’s not actually the “Saturday Night Live” star who is behind the account. Instead, Davidson employed filmmaker and photographer Marcus Russell Price to run the account.
Davidson wiped his account after he posted a dark Instagram note in December that led many to believe he was suicidal.
He wrote: “I really don’t want to be on this earth anymore,” he wrote. “I’m doing my best to stay here for you but I actually don’t know how much longer I can last. all I’ve ever tried to do was help people. just remember I told you so.”
In January, Davidson returned to the stage to address his then-split from Ariana Grande and his mental health.
