Pete Davidson has spoken for the first time about the end of his relationship with Ariana Grande while co-hosting the “Judd & Pete for America” benefit with Judd Apatow, at Largo at the Coronet in West Hollywood, Calif.
“Well, as you could tell, I don’t want to be here. There’s a lot going on,” the “Saturday Night Live” comedian said. “Does anybody have any open rooms? Looking for a roommate?”
Davidson and Grande split earlier this month, after getting engaged in June. The former lovers stayed in a $16 million New York apartment, which Grande reportedly purchased. The duo even professed their love for one another with tattoos.
“Um, I’ve been covering a bunch of tattoos, that’s fun,” Davidson joked. “I’m f–king zero for two in the tattoo [department]. Yeah, I’m afraid to get my mom tattooed on me, that’s how bad it is.”
Days before reports of the split had surfaced, it appeared Davidson had covered up a Grande-inspired tattoo.
