Jagagba captures the conflicts that characterize traditional society with interplays of political metaphors and social contradictions.

The play explores the quandary of familial ties, the complexity of policy formulation and the perceived gap between evolving cultures, including relevant social issues such as, the societal value of women, female inclusion, security and co-existence.

BUAF will stage its 2018 winning play, Jagagba, at the Agip Recital Hall, Musical Society of Nigeria (MUSON) Centre, Lagos from Friday, July 19, to Sunday, July 21, 2019.
