Manchester United midfielderand assistant captain Paul Pogba has been ruled out of Sunday’s Premier League clash with leaders Liverpool at Old Trafford.
This is coming two days after goalkeeper David de Gea was ruled out owing to a groin injury suffered on international duty.
The 26-year old had been suffering from a foot injury that has limited him to just two appearances since the end of August. Pogba last played in the 1-1 draw at home to Arsenal on 30 September.
United are two points clear of the relegation zone while Liverpool have an eight-point lead at the top.
