Here’s how the Premier League table looks after yet another busy weekend and heading into another international break! The reds are still flying, having only dropped 2 points all season. 3-1 victory at Anfield against the champions has now put 9 points between Liverpool and City. Surprisingly its Leicester in second place, followed by Chelsea in 3rd. Brendan Rodgers and Frank Lampard doing phenomenal jobs at their respective clubs. Both Leicester and Chelsea tied on 26 points.
Another surprise this seasons has to be newly promoted Sheffield United who currently sit in 5th, big thanks due to their top defensive record, only Leicester have conceded less this campaign.
It’s been a rough start to the season for the other 3 “Big 6” sides; Emery & Ole Gunnar A Solsjkear have been under increasing pressure from fans. United and Arsenal look set to be missing out on Champions League football yet again which could have ramifications for their respective managers. Tottenham sit all the way in 14th, and you cant’t help but thing maybe the cycle is over for this group of players and their manager who has been targeted for a number of jobs including OGS’s at Manchester United.
The bottom 3 in the Premier League table comprises of Watford, Southampton and newly promoted Norwich, these sides will have to fix up sooner rather than later to avoid the drop.
