Liberian singer, Quincy L. Burrowes, best known as Quincy B has died from a car crash.
The promising singer was returning from a late night gig on Friday Morning, March 3, 2017 at Anglers Bar and Restaurant, when he reportedly lost control driving.
His car happened to have somersaulted opposite the Monrovia City Hall, leading to his untimely death.
Quincy B, who just released his latest single, ‘I pledge’, a duet with Musulyn Myers aka Sweetz, rose to prominence in 2013, following the recording of dancehall hit, was said to be in the driver’s seat, accompanied by his colleagues, Feouls Kaba, Margas and CIC who suffered a broken leg while the others went unscathed.
Quincy B and parents fled to Ghana as a child during the Liberian Civil unrest where he schooled at the Ikrist High School and later at the Kings University College in Accra – Ghana where he did music education.
He returned to Liberia with his family in 2012 and started to do professional music in 2014.
Quincy B is a household name in his native Liberia with hit songs like Tumba Baba, Put Liberia First, Crazy, Rotate and Mr. All The Time.
