In his first interview since he was charged with sexual abuse last month Gayle King sat down with R. Kelly in a two-part segments interview scheduled to air starting today. R. Kelly finally broke his silence since being charged with 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse.

In clips of the CBS interview, R. Kelly appears to deny the allegations against him, dismissing the claims as ‘rumors.’ Gayle King asks Kelly about his history with underage girls, which Kelly dismisses by saying he “beat his case.” “When you beat your case, you beat your case,” he said, as though that somehow answered her question.

The singer appears to become much more emotional as the interview continues. He points to the camera directly in front of him yelling and crying, “Is this camera on me?,” he then starts to cry while addressing the public directly. “Stop it. All you quit playing. Quit playing. I didn’t do this stuff! This is not me! I’m fighting for my fucking life!”

The full interview will air today on “CBS This Morning.”
