I realized that everyday we are pushed further and further into the world and are suppose to know were we are going and what we are doing. We are told “think of the future”, “make goals” and “plan ahead” but most times they never told up how to actually do this.


This type of goal you will sha know…

As young people (some more than others of course), we have to plan and think of the future because we may not realize it now, but time is a cruel mistress and is fleeting. Before you know it, you’re old and having regrets. So here is something I read by Kevin h. Davies which helped me and I sure hope it helps you too:

-Boost Self-Confidence

By setting goals, and measuring your achievement, you are able to see what you have done and what you are capable of. The process of achieving goals and seeing your achievement gives you the confidence and a belief in yourself. This helps you learn to achieve higher and more difficult goals.

Providing that you have the self-discipline to carry it through, goal setting is also relatively easy, and with proper guidance can make the “you” you want to be come out.

– Choose the right goals to start with

Sometimes setting goals alone is not the only problem. Choosing the right goals to begin with can be harder. So basically choose those goals you feel are necessary for your health, stability and happiness at that time.

Goal setting is nothing more than a formal process for personal planning. By setting goals on a routine basis you decide what you want to achieve, and then move step-by-step towards the these goals. This process allows you to choose where you want to go in life. By knowing exactly what you want to achieve, you know what you have to concentrate on to do it. You also tent to notice what is nothing more than a distraction.

– Follow the leaders, Lead

Goal setting is a standard technique used by professional athletes, successful business people and high achievers in all fields. It gives you long term vision and provides you with short term motivation.

It helps to focus your attention and knowledge, which helps you to organize your resources. By setting sharp and clearly defined goals, you can measure and take pride in the achievement of those goals. You can see forward progress in what might previously have seemed a long pointless effort.


-Setting Goals is as easy as 1,2,3.

1-You decide what you want to do with your life and what large scale goals you want to achieve.

2-You break these down into the smaller aims that you must hit, so that you reach your overall lifetime goals.

3-Finally, once you have your plan, you start working towards achieving it.

These are just the start of reaching your rightful place in the future. If you try to spend time focusing on the little goals, then the big goal will be achieved in no time. Determination and a strong will have to be applied, but little things always add up to make the big things.

So just look at it this way, we all have places we would like to be and dreams we wish to achieve. With out taking the 1st step towards them, we can never get there. Not only does the longest journey begin with a single step, but the way I see it, the sooner you start. The sooner you can get finished.
