Rick Ross stopped by Wendy’s Show to explain why he warned Meek Mill not to trust Nicki Minaj on his album, Rather You Than Me.
“It’s just that big brother love, it’s nothing personal against Nicki. It could’ve been Keisha off your block. That was just me being a big brother… That was just my opinion. [I told him] just be careful. Sometimes you just have to let your little brother live and give them your support.”
On his situation with Birdman where he took shots at the Cash Money exec on his single, ‘Idols Become Rivals,’ Rick said:
“Obviously Lil Wayne hasn’t been able to release his album that has been ready to be released for a long time now. Lil Wayne was the first artist to ever sell a million records the first week, so he set a lot of precedence for Southern artists such as myself. So I just felt like it was time for somebody to speak on it.”
Obviously, there are no hard feelings anywhere with Rick Ross.
