Chulo, whose real name is Wisdom Achichie, announced his arrival on the scene back in 2016, with his first single ‘Agbada’. Singing in his local dialect and English, ‘Agbada’ was an introduction of Chulo to listeners to catch a glimpse of what to expect from the Afro singer.
Since then, he has gone on to release a number of singles, such as ’Life Of The Party’, ‘Isabella’ and a cover of Runtown’s ‘Mad Over you’. He has also collaborated with a number of upcoming artists, which include Kobi Wolf, Bliiizzy, Tobyswurld, FascoDash, TyeonTemper, Boystoner, Khally and Ghanaian artistes including Obonaii and Bentil Trigger.
On the 11th of June 2020, he released his latest single, titled ‘Magic’, which is available on all major streaming platforms. Speaking on the release of his new single, Chulo said: “This is me telling a love fantasy about Hadiza, the girl in my imagination, whilst basking in my romantic element, singing my thoughts aloud and cheerfully letting the world know how she makes me feel and what i would do if we were ever together.”
With the release of this new single, Chulo has told his fans to expect much more music, a couple of visuals which are in progress and side by side collaborations across the horizon. Chulo for sure is on the right track to achieving all his aspirations and making his mother proud, who he has constantly mentioned as a major motivation for his path in music.
