Despite competition from Justin Bieber’s comeback single “Yummy,” Roddy Ricch has landed the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 with “The Box.” The Compton rapper gained his first No. 1 single with the track, which steadily climbed the charts after continued viral success.
Following the news, Bieber was a good smart and congratulated Roddy on his first No. 1 record.

Chart Data reported the news; Bieber’s “Yummy” landed at No. 2. As Billboard confirmed, “The Box” brought in 68.2 million U.S. streams and 11,000 digital song sales in the week ending Jan. 9, while Bieber’s track garnered 29.3 million streams and 71,000 sales. Elsewhere on the chart, Post Malone’s “Circles” drops to No. 3, while Maroon 5’s “Memories” sits at No. 4
