Super Eagles Coach, Gernot Rohr will officially announce his list of players that will prosecute the international friendly games against Serbia and Poland on March 7 at the NFF headquarters in Abuja.
According to a message on NFF’s Twitter account, it read:
“Media alert. The list of players invited by coach Gernot Rohr for the friendlies against Poland and Serbia in March will be officially released to the media in Abuja on March 7 at a well-publicized event. Let us be wary of unnecessary media speculations.”
News flying around has it that Brian Idowu, who got his debut goal in the friendly against Argentina, will get a call –up while Aaron Samuel and Brown Ideye might not make it.
Nigeria will take on Poland on March 23rd in Poland before facing Serbia on March 27th in London.
The Super Eagles are placed in Group D alongside Argentina, Croatia and Iceland.
