Ahead of the world cup fiesta next month, the Super Eagles seems to be beaming with lots of confidence after the camp opened yesterday.
CD Feirense midfielder, Oghenekaro Etebo was the latest to join the Nigerian national team at their get-together in Uyo as they prepare for the international friendly against the Democratic Republic of Congo on the 28th of May. He was joined later by Chippa United’s Daniel Akpeyi.
Other players in camp are Wilfred Ndidi, Kelechi Iheanacho, Tyronne Ebuehi, Kenneth Omeruo, Chidozie Awaziem, Dele Ajiboye, Stephen Eze, Ikechukwu Ezenwa, Junior Lokosa, William Troost-Ekong, Elderson Echiejile, Eddy Onazi, Ola Aina and Alex Iwobi.
Meanwhile, seven players will be dropped few days after the DRC friendly to thin the squad to 23.
